Hi there—please don’t take this the wrong way because I know you’re trying to be helpful with these reminders, but it gives me a lot of anxiety whenever I see them. Unfortunately, my response to things that cause me anxiety is to avoid them until that anxiety has calmed down. I am so sorry to ask this, but I would really appreciate it if you could hold off leaving them for me unless it’s been a super long time like that one that did get lost a while back.

For some reason, I thought it was best to tell you sooner, thinking it would make you feel less sorry for posting less late, than when I wait months to say it.

I don't see what is so stressing to get that kind of comment, it's really simple if you don't want them anymore from any of us. As I suggested before, you can either verify the tags once in a while to verify if you posted everything for your challenges, or track the tags about challenges and voting posts, and keep them in your inbox until you did post the voting or winners. Doing that, you will never forget about them anymore, the email in your Inbox will be a reminder. That's my way of doing it for more than 15 years, and I never forgot to post anything, so it really works.

To be entirely honest with you, it’s about the fact that you are clearly policing this comm specifically and that is not your job. It bothers me and I am not the only one. I was hoping you would at least understand the anxiety that you specifically are causing me and be somewhat sympathetic about it instead of making veiled implications that I should quit, but clearly that is not the case. It isn’t people commenting that makes me anxious. It’s the constant hounding by one particular person.

Like I told you before, your email method doesn’t work for me for a variety of reasons. I’m glad it works for you, but saying it works for you doesn’t mean it will work for other people. I do go back and check the tags. Thank you for trying to be helpful, but please stop.
